Well actually it isnt! But it will be. I bought this device at a boot fair for £30. Not sure what it was but the mounting fits my craft drill. It can now be precisely moved in any axis with both coarse and fine feeds availiable. The mill head has yet to be fitted with a chuck and a suitable work holding fixture has yet to be completed but the machine works really well at the moment.

The whole unit is about 2′ x 2′ x 2′. 3/4 inch plexiglass is used although I will have a piece of something (say, MDF) on the top of the axis as a cutting surface. I have not yet decided.

Four screw holes were drilled into the L-channel to support the four mounting holes on the motor itself. Four screwholes were also drilled across the beam through both sets of L-channel to support the motor onto the plexiglass.
