In conjunction with the exhibition &quotOut of Hand: Materializing the Post Digital,&quot the NYC DOT Urban Art System and the Museum of Arts and Style present Michael Rees’ sculpture &quotConverge: Ghraib Bag&quot in the pedestrian plaza on Broadway among 58th Street and Columbus Circle. The 17 foot sculpture was manufactured from a laptop file employing Computer Numerical Manage (CNC) machines and computer software from one frame in an animation.
