Created for a multimedia design and style firm, this blackened steel catwalk connects a mezzanine to a conference area. The catwalk includes cast glass lenses imbedded in the floor reminiscent of the cast iron sidewalk grates common in lower Manhattan at the turn of the century. The laser cut components had been detailed in solidworks to match with each other like a kit-of-parts that was assembled and installed over a weekend.
